login and rating

If you’ve signed up for a Test Drive or if you are a client, you’ll be completing a rating form that will record your opinions, but this form may be different from others you’ve completed. When you see the rating form, you’ll notice that it is made up of many pairs of contrasting words. Each word pair is separated by 7 radio buttons..  The words on it are fairly general and somewhat abstract. You may have heard a few of the words on your screen applied to products, but some of them may be difficult to use to describe your product. Your challenge will be to apply these words to the product  that you’re rating.  You can take as long as you want to examine the product, but you’ll have to make your rating only from your knowledge of this and similar products.

After you’ve finished examining the product, you will be completing the online rating. You will be selecting an option on each line that best reflects your opinion of the product.  You’ll be looking at the word pairs and asking yourself, “Is this product more like the word on the right or more like the word on the left?”  Then you’ll click one of the 7 radio buttons between the words that best represents your opinion of how well the words fit the product.  These words describe the product; they don’t necessarily rate it as  “good” or  “bad.”  Make your judgments based on the meaning of the words, and click on any of the 7 buttons between the words that shows your opinion of the product.  We hope that you’ll use all the buttons as possible options for your choice, and not limit yourself to just the middle button or the ones closest to the words.  Try to make your choice really reflect your own opinion.
