The Creative Product Semantic Scale  (CPSS)

 

This assessment measure was developed over twenty years of scientific empirical validation studies including reliability, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and other multivariate statistical measures to be sure that it measures what we want to know:  what your customers think about the products or new product concepts you show them.

 

Users examine the product or concept description being assessed, and simply respond with the position on each item scale which most nearly represents their opinion about the product being assessed.

 

It uses 55 items, contrasting adjectives, on Likert-type scales from 1 to 7.
The assessment takes about 10 minutes to complete, and has been translated from English into the Norwegian,  French, German, Spanish, Swedish and Italian languages.
